Hi feminists,
Hopefully our recent posts have whetted your appetite for the Autumn season ahead and don’t forget the Off the Shelf festival at the beginning of October for both feminist and activist related events.
We aim to present the majority of our posts in as lighthearted a manner as possible to engage interest, however there are occasions when a more serious tone seems more appropriate for the subject matter in question.
My colleagues within the network have been involved in many worthy causes, and campaigns affecting women internationally, and if you haven’t been to one of our SFN meetings recently, then our packed programme of activities for the next year should provide something of interest for everyone- see previous posts for details.
One such topic is the controversial subject of abortion for Northern Ireland women, and our recent September meeting covered this subject.
