Two wonderful feminist events to bring to your attention- the first exciting meeting this week is a film called RESILIENCE celebrating the transformative power of this emotion, which will be hosted by the local Sheffield Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service- between 6 and 8 pm this Tuesday evening at Sheffield Town Hall- tickets via Eventbrite!! This coming Sunday 25th November also marks the International Day to End Violence Against Women- we all know what a joyous activity singing can be- so why not tune up and support the White Ribbon campaign by joining our action to end VAWAG- if you would like to practice- join us this Tunesday evening to polish up your vocal chords- see the flyer and related links below:

on the International Day to End Violence Against Women 25 November

Sheffield Feminist Network invites everyone to join an action in Sheffield City Centre on Sunday 25 November 2018 between 12 noon and 1pm

We will be singing songs, giving out postcards from the Know the Line campaign against sexual harassment and encouraging men to sign up to the White Ribbon Campaign.

To join in just gather on the Moor outside Debenhams any time from 11.30am

Please bring appropriate banners or placards

A chance to learn ‘Nasty’ by Sheffield’s own Val Regan, inspired by the Women’s March on Washington in 2017.
